For anyone who suffers from the feelings of worrying about some everyday thing, and it seems to be excessive but is not actually of a major problem to other people, then this person may be suffering from generalized anxiety disorder symptoms.

These types of sufferers live a rather miserable sort of life, because they are always worrying about something that will probably never happen. Unfortunately this can interfere with their normal everyday living and can disrupt their lives enormously.

They can have feeling of impending doom, a feeling that some kind if disaster is going to happen. They often find they have problems relating to all sorts of issues. This could be worrying about dying, that they have some kind of health problem, or their friends do not like them or some other issue with a friend. They may feel they have problems with some of their family members or something is going wrong with a relationship. They may also find that where they work there are things there that concern them. Money could be another worry for these types of sufferers, where perhaps they are concerned they do not have enough to go around or something else.

Sometimes physical symptoms can manifest themselves as muscle tension. This may cause muscles to ache, produce a difficulty with swallowing, give trouble with breathing which can come and go. There may be headaches, a feeling of nausea, and a feeling of being tired most of the time.

A person can feel restless and continue fidgeting, or be irritable and agitated at times. Numbness in the feet and hands can occur. Other symptoms may be a tendency to sweat, there could also be hot flashes. Rashes on the skin can occur this could be due to the dampness from constant perspiration, or it may be due to the stress of the situation.

Their concentration can become very poor at times this may be due to the effects of concentrating on things that they are worrying about. Sleeping can also be a concern with insomnia occurring due to the anxiety. This may occur from the effects of worrying about some major issue that they think is going to happen.

This is a problem that is said to affect about five percent of the population, and women are often affected more that men. If it persists all the time for a period of six months or more then there is a diagnosis done to ascertain if this is definitely the problem.

  1. Very nice article on panic attack, our famil has been dealing with this for awhile now. In the beginning it was hard to know what was going on, wish we would of had your site before.
